Keeping your account secure
Last updated 10 August 2026
Your account holds money and personal data. Anyone who gets into it can bet with your balance and see your documents.
Why it matters
A gambling account is a financial account. If someone else signs in they can place bets, drain your balance, change your details and view the identity documents you uploaded for verification. Bets placed from your account are treated as yours, so a compromised account can cost you money we cannot refund.
What to do
- Use a password you use nowhere else. A password manager is the easiest way to do this.
- Make it long — length beats complexity. Three or four unrelated words is stronger than one word with symbols.
- Turn on two-factor authentication in your settings. It stops anyone who has your password alone.
- Never share your password or a verification code. We will never ask for either.
- Sign out on shared or public devices, and do not save the password in a shared browser.
- Check the sessions list in your settings and end anything you do not recognise.
- Keep the email address on your account current — it is how we reach you about resets and withdrawals.
Automatic sign-out
We sign you out after 30 minutes without activity, and warn you a minute before. This is a licensing requirement and it protects an account left open on a device you have walked away from. Choosing “stay signed in” on the warning resets the timer.
Recognising a scam
We will never contact you asking for your password, a two-factor code, or a payment to release a withdrawal. Messages promising guaranteed wins, bonus unlocks or account recovery in exchange for a fee are fraudulent, however official they look.
If you receive one, do not reply. Forward it to support@zappx.com.
If you think your account is compromised
Change your password immediately and end all other sessions from your settings. Then contact us through the contact page so we can freeze the account and review recent activity.
