How bets are accepted, settled and disputed on Zappx.
General rules
A bet is confirmed when you see a reference number on screen. Until then it is not placed.
You must have sufficient cleared balance at the time of placement. Bets attempted without sufficient funds will not be accepted.
Bets cannot be cancelled or altered once confirmed, except where a cash-out option is explicitly offered and the market is still open.
Void bets return the stake in full. They are not counted toward any wagering requirement.
In the event of a discrepancy between the amount displayed on screen and the amount deducted from your balance, the amount deducted is treated as authoritative, and the bet is referred for manual review.
Casino games
Casino games are supplied by third-party providers and certified by an approved independent testing house. Zappx does not alter the mathematics of any game.
Return to player (RTP) — Each game's RTP is displayed on its detail page. RTP describes long-run statistical behaviour across all players; it is not a prediction of what you will win in a given session.
Random outcomes — All results are produced by a certified random number generator. Previous results have no influence on future results.
Free play — Free-play mode uses the same certified engine and the same RTP as real-money play. It is for practice only; any winnings in free-play mode are not redeemable.
Disconnection — If you lose connection mid-round, the round is held open and resolved when you reconnect. Stakes committed to an open round are not lost.
Game malfunction — If a game malfunctions in a way that voids the outcome (for example, the display freezes but the server records a result) the server result stands if it is complete and uncorrupted. If the server record is also incomplete, the round is voided and the stake returned.
Sports betting
Odds are accurate at the time of placement. Any change to the odds after your bet is accepted does not affect your bet.
Event results are settled once the relevant governing body confirms the result. We do not settle on unofficial sources.
Where an event is abandoned, postponed or moved, bets are voided unless settlement terms specific to that market state otherwise.
In-play bets are accepted subject to availability. Acceptance of an in-play bet is not guaranteed; a bet placed during a delay between the live event and our data feed may be rejected.
We reserve the right to limit maximum stake or winnings on any market, at any time, without prior notice.
Prediction markets
Prediction markets settle on publicly verifiable outcomes. The resolution source is stated on each market.
If a resolution source is unavailable or disputed, we will wait for an authoritative determination before settling. Bets remain open during that period.
A market that cannot be settled will be voided and all stakes returned.
Disputes
If you believe a bet was settled incorrectly, contact support within 30 days of settlement with the bet reference number shown in your bet history. We will review the server record and respond within 5 business days.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate through our complaints process.
