How we make sure every result is random, how that is tested, and who checks our work.
Certification status
Pending. Zappx is in the process of licensing with the Government of Gibraltar. Independent testing of our random number generator and game engines is underway. Certificates will be published on this page as they are issued, and this notice removed. TODO(legal): replace with the issued certificates and testing house name.
How results are generated
Every casino outcome is produced by a random number generator. The generator is independent of your balance, your stake, how long you have played, and whether you are in real-money or free-play mode.
Free play uses the same game engine and the same return-to-player percentage as real play. A game does not behave differently because you are playing for fun.
Independent testing
Before a new random number generator is deployed it is tested and certified by an approved testing facility.
Every game engine is separately certified to confirm its output is genuinely random.
Any change to the generator or an engine requires re-certification before release.
Return-to-player percentages are analysed quarterly against actual game results, not just theoretical models.
Certificates are provided to the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner and published here.
Return to player
Each game publishes a return-to-player figure — the proportion of all stakes a game returns to players over a very large number of rounds. It describes long-run behaviour across everyone playing, not what will happen in your session. A 96% RTP game does not return 96p of every pound you personally stake.
The RTP for each game is shown on that game's page and in its rules.
Common questions
Can Zappx change the odds of a game?
No. Games are supplied and certified by third parties. We cannot alter their mathematics, and any change by the supplier requires re-certification.
Do results change based on how much I have won?
No. Each round is independent. Previous results have no bearing on the next one.
What happens if I lose connection mid-game?
Incomplete rounds are held and resolved when you return. Stakes committed to an unfinished round are marked as pending and are not lost. See the game rules for the specific game.
Who do I contact if I think a result was wrong?
Every bet has a reference ID shown in your bet history. Send it to support@zappx.com and we will trace the round.
